Meet Christina
When Christina Eaglin had her first child, she was a Senior Account Executive at NBC4 television in Washington, D.C. Her infant daughter commuted with her husband and attended a federal government daycare center. This solution worked well for their new family; she would pack up the bags, and her husband would transport their daughter.
When she had her second daughter, she successfully hired one of the federal government daycare center employees to become a nanny in her home. However, when her girls were just six months and two years old, she got a divorce and had to change childcare solutions. From then on, and through high school, it was a series of nannies who lived in and lived out and au pairs. The girls attended in-home daycare centers, both licensed and unlicensed. Because of her work life, though, the in-home childcare solution worked best for her and her girls. As her daughters got older, they renamed the position from “Nanny” to “House Manager”!
During this time, she also changed jobs to become a Director of Integrated Marketing at the CBS Affiliate in Washington, DC. From there, she went on to become the Director of Interactive Marketing for Children’s National Medical Center. Confronted with an unexpected layoff, she came home to recreate herself and started her own business.
Today, Christina and her girls are still in touch and friends with many of the wonderful women who assisted them by providing care. Today, she is President of her own company, MVP Agency, LLC, which stands for Marketing, Video Production, and Public Relations, and The Lotus Group, LLC, where she is a real estate investor. She has taken all she learned in and out of numerous childcare solutions to help you with yours; this book was written over the span of twenty years and has evolved with technology, pandemics, and childcare.
Christina is known as the go-to mom for childcare solutions. Her energy and passion for children and their safety come from her first job as an assistant babysitter at the age of 10! As a teenager, she nannied five cousins at different times over six summers. Ms. Eaglin is available for speaking engagements, book clubs, and other public appearances. She can be contacted at Christina@WhosWatchingMyBaby.com. Christina Eaglin continues to live in Colesville, Maryland, where she raised her two daughters, who are now successful young women.
